Phyworks appoints Director of Marketing in USA

Phyworks, the high performance analog and mixed signal communications IC company has hired Dharmesh Jani as Director of Marketing USA. A key focus of his new role will be the expansion of the company’s low power equaliser product portfolio to enable next generation of energy efficient connectivity solutions.

With in depth experience in optical and physical communication technologies related to datacom and telecom space, Jani joins Phyworks from chip vendor AMCC, where he was Senior Product Marketing Manager. He was previously Technical Marketing Manager with Intel’s Digital Equipment Group. He has also worked in marketing, design and manufacturing at two telecom system vendors Infinera and Corvis.

Jani holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles and a B.Tech, Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also has an MBA degree from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley.
