PHY1093

Transimpedance Amplifier

 

The PHY1093 is a transimpedance amplifier designed for use within small form factor fibre optic modules targeted at Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and SONET/SDH applications. Working from a 3.3V power supply the PHY1093 integrates a low noise transimpedance amplifier, with a typical transimpedance of 6.3k, an AGC and an output stage. A signal is also provided which can be used to implement a signal strength monitor circuit. Typical sensitivity of -24.5dBm can be achieved at 2.5Gbps at a wavelength of 1310nm. The PHY1093 is available in die form for mounting on a header to create a ROSA when combined with suitable optics and Photo-detector diode.
